Subsonic Talon 37″ (Gen. 1)

Description

This is one of the most beautiful decks out there, it has 1.25″ drop and a convave designed for high speed control downhill.

I received this deck from Paul from Subsonic as cortesy and so I was able to design the enclosure, it took me several months as the design wasn’t the one I was looking for but at the end I liked it a lot.

There are some considerations to take into account before buying this enclosure:

1. The motors can’t be installed inwards, unfortunately the decks has not been designed to run motors at all, so you need to run them in reverse position.
2. If you decided you really want to run the motors inwards you will need to use a metal addapter and to flatten the tail and drill new baseplate holes, almost on the bottom end.
3. Reverse position will require the use of longer motor mounts or to drill new baseplate holes further down the tail
4. If you are going to use hub motors there there will be no need for any modification at all.
5. The enclosure is good for 10S5P configurations with charge only BMS

You can also include a heatsink for FocBoxes, just add a heatsink to the order before you check out.

Important Note:

In September 2018 a second generation of this deck was designed by Subsonic, it had 36″ instead of the original 37″ and a slightly different shape. If you have this version then this enclosure won’t fit perfect on your deck.
