This is a charge only BMS with discharge bypassed.
Why is discharge bypassed?
There are some benefits by wiring a charge/discharge BMS mainly to protect the cells of overcharge and overdischarge, but it also has a really big disadvantage, you might loose brakes during an emergency braking if you battery is fully charged. For me life is way more important than taking care of cell life cycle. This is why I build all my boards with BMS for charge only.
The 12S BMS comes with a dust proof charge port included.
Wiring labor of BMS on the battery is included on the price.
